Error 6576

  • Short Text: Continuing student enrollment is missing for transfer within your district or CMO.

  • Long Text: Continuing student enrollment is missing for transfer within your district. To correct the error, verify if the student moved between schools within the same district or CMO and enrollment is missing from the new school. If above is true then submit the new enrollment from expected transfer school. If a student has moved to a different district then change the expected transfer school to a different district, CMO, or a different Choice school. Alternatively, if another exit type is applicable, correcting the exit type will remove this error.

  • Business Rules (2018-19 and earlier):

  • Throw on expected transfer school. If a record is PPP do not throw this error. Check this rule for only students with active status. Refer WiseID Person table to check this status. Exit Type = ETC AND LEA of expected transfer school = submitting agency AND expected transfer agency = Submitting agency AND no subsequent Primary or PPP SSA has been entered in the current school year or prior to 3rd Fri Sep of next school year Note: Expected transfer agency or response is not required for PPP records. While checking for subsequent enrollment Primary and PPP are included as subsequent enrollment.

  • Business Rules (2019-20 and later):

  • Throw on expected transfer school. If a record is PPP do not throw this error. Check this rule for only students with active status. Refer WiseID Person table to check this status

Submitting district is Primary and Exit Type = ETC AND CST = N or Null AND  LEA of expected transfer school = submitting agency AND expected transfer agency = Submitting agency AND no subsequent Primary or PPP SSA by any school has been entered in the current school year or prior to 3rd Fri Sep of next school year

    OR

Submitting district is Primary and Exit Type = ETC AND CST = Y AND AND  LEA of expected transfer school = submitting agency AND expected transfer agency = Submitting agency AND no subsequent Primary or PPP SSA  by any school has been entered on or before TFS +2 Note - This is thrown to the Expected Transfer school and not the submitting school

  • How to Fix:  Another school within your district reported that one of their students was transferring to your school. Because WISEdata hasn’t yet seen reported proof of this transfer, you need to take action. If this student transferred to your school or Choice system, then submit a WISEdata enrollment record for the student; a new enrollment will prove the student's status as a transfer rather than a dropout. However, if the student did not enroll in your school, then navigate to the Expected Transfer Section in the WISEdata Portal Student Detail to answer questions about the situation.

  • Example: District Deb notices an error that Dale was set to be a transfer to Orchard Elementary from Vineyard Elementary, another school in the district, but Dale doesn’t have a new enrollment set up in WISEdata at Orchard, the expected transfer school. Deb discovers that Dale has not yet enrolled at Orchard Elementary, so she works in the WISEdata Portal to answer a couple questions in the Expected Transfer Response section.
