Error 6627

  • Short Text: District of Residence must equal the submitting district for DOC and DHS and for parentally-placed private students in the current sSA.

  • Long Text: District of Residence must equal the submitting district for DOC and DHS and for parentally-placed private students in the current sSA.

  • Business Rules:

    • Logic--Submitting district is DOC or DHS.

  • How to Fix: First check to see if the student in question is parentally-placed private (PPP) or attends a school within the Department of Corrections (DOC) or Department of Health Services (DHS). If so, check the values listed in the SIS for Resident and Submitting District; they should match. To clear the error, modify district fields as necessary such that the submitting district is also listed as the resident district in the current record.

  • Example: District Deb notices an error on Josh’s record that the resident district value doesn’t match the submitting district. Deb knows this must be true for PPP students or students in DOC or DHS, so she verifies that Josh attends classes through a DOC school. The SIS currently shows Josh’s home address in Park City as the submitting district, while the DOC district of Lavender Town is listed as the resident district. Deb removes the incorrect Resident Lavender Town value and replaces it with the same Park City value as the submitting district to clear the error.
